CFA is fully licensed by the state of Oregon and Washington as a private, non-profit adoption agency and since 1958, has been active in the placement of infants and children from the United States as well children from the Oregon and Washington Foster Care systems.
CFA is well known for its ethical practices and for its expertise in following international, federal, and state adoption laws. Our services have expanded to include our Loving Options Infant Program (Oregon and Washington families), African American Infant Program, State Adoptions, International and Independent home studies and post placement services which include Post Adoption Communication and Search and Registry. CFA is an active member of the Coalition of Oregon Adoption Agencies, the Oregon Special Needs Adoption Coalition and partners with the Oregon Heart Gallery and A Family for Every Child to place special needs children.
