Independent Adoptions
This is typically when a family is able to locate a child or birth parent on their own through an attorney, a physician, a pastor, or a family friend. Christian Family Adoptions contracts to do the home study and the post placement supervision/court report and the family also contracts with an adoption attorney for the placement and legal aspects.

Application fee: $300.00 (non-refundable)
Home Study – Independentl: $1500.00
WA Post Placement Report: $350.00 (per report)
Oregon
Application fee: Waived by law
Home Study – Independent: $1500.00
OR Court Report: $675.00 (Payable to State of Oregon)
